My name is Anne. I grew up in Sydney and worked in the State Library of NSW. When I retired I moved to the beautiful Atherton Tablelands. People here are so friendly and welcoming that it was very easy to settle in to my new way of life. Then, in 2013, I found a new calling and trained as a celebrant.
I love meeting new people and working with them to capture the energy and joy of their celebration. I love creating a tailored ceremony to suit each occasion. I even enjoy the paperwork that comes with the job. And you can rely on me to make sure that all the legal requirements are met.
There is magic in ceremonies where love, friendship and joy come together. I feel very lucky to be a part of this.
And there is hope for the future. There is love: love for people, love for nature and animals and love for mother earth. I’ve always enjoyed having pets in my life and I have experienced many happy years with their boundless joy.
Good things are happening all around us. Some believe it’s the dawning of a new age. I think that many people are looking for a spiritual connection: they want to live in harmony with each other. With love and happiness spreading out across the whole planet, life is truly worth celebrating!
